Having won 17 state championships since 1950, the Lovington Wildcats are powerful force in high school football. The LHS football program boasts Chicago Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher as an alumnus. He has show lots of support for his hometown team, and the Brian Urlacher Training Center is named after him. Coach Jaime Quinones will be leading the Cats to hopeful victories this season.
