The 2011 Lea County Fair & Rodeo is coming to an end. This morning, animals from the junior livestock show were auctioned off. This was a long and tough process for several young 4-H and FFA members. The process of raising and caring for their livestock instills responsibility and work ethic in all participants. Months of labor and dedication come down to a single week at the Fair, where judges inspect each entry for winning characteristics.
